London\u2019s famous Abbey Road studios marked its 90th anniversary with a festival of events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAbbey Road Amplify\u201d was held on Nov. 11 and 12. The festival featured free masterclasses with leading producers and sound engineers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Amplify sessions and talks were aimed at people starting out in the industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe do stand on the shoulders of giants, we\u2019ve had so many amazing names through this place so we need to celebrate that,\u201d said Isabel Garvey, Abbey Road Studios\u2019 managing director.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The studio has made legendary recordings for greats such as the Beatles, Pink Floyd, Amy Winehouse and Adele.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHow are we going to be as famous in 90 years\u2019 time? We need to capture the hearts and minds of the next generation,\u201d said Garvey. \u201cWe need to be really relevant.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
