Dear Regular Newsletter Readers,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I hope you are receiving this week\u2019s offering of our newsletter in good health and fine spirits. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This week, I would like to share with you something of a personal saying that I tend to repeat to myself from time to time; these few words have helped to realign me on the few occasions in my life when I\u2019ve veered slightly off track and I\u2019m sure they will continue to serve me well as I continue my journey through life, I hope they may serve others in a positive way.   <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAs long as you\u2019re moving you\u2019re thinking and as long as you\u2019re thinking you\u2019re doing and providing your intentions are borne of the genuine kind then all will be ensuing.\u201d <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I\u2019ve also attached one or two verses of something that can only be described as indescribable as far as poetry is concerned, but nonetheless it\u2019s been tapped out by my own fair fingers and whether good, bad or indifferent, in my book it\u2019s always better to present something rather than nothing at all.  Until next week, keep safe and well.       <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Coffee and toffee<\/em><\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Sitting at my desk drinking coffee thinking about the taste of toffee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The taste of coffee and toffee is different unless you add the essences of both to each other.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And in which case you would have coffeetoffee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sitting at my desk chewing toffee thinking about the taste of coffee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sitting at my desk smelling coffee thinking about the smell of toffee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The smell of coffee and toffee is different unless you add the smells of both to each other.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And in which case you would have cofftoffee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Whilst still sitting at my desk I\u2019m wondering what the hell has just inspired me to write the previous 4 verses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I ate toffee up until my mid-teens and only ever drank coffee if it was made from freshly ground beans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I am by nature a very deep thinker which over the years appears to have turned me into a heavy tea drinker.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I\u2019m now sitting at my desk wondering where I\u2019m going to find the inspiration to write 3 more verses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rather than finding it through a glass of libation I ask myself what words rhyme with word verses <\/strong>to which an array of words come to mind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nurses, reimburses, purses, curses, hearses, mercies, reverses, converses and purposes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I choose hearses and I conjure up a procession of them driving along a road filled with coffins of people recently passed away.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Some taking roads to churches for services and then on to cemeteries to be laid to rest in graves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Others on their way to crematoriums to be burned and put in to caskets to be buried or put into urns to be scattered over lawns and into the sea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Images of hearses driving along a road made me wonder how my death will be, but I suppose that\u2019s mostly up to me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If I continue to look after myself I should remain in good health and able to live a relatively long life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I don\u2019t want to outlive my wife or pass on unexpectedly leaving her with more time than she\u2019s expecting to spend by herself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Leaving an ornament on a sideboard or shelf undisturbed and undusted for years to keep the memory alive of a loved one long since deceased.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From time-to-time checking clothes hanging in the closet, removing suit jackets to make sure the trousers are all still sharply creased.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

And when overcome by loneliness walking out in to a still well-kept garden to be close to where the ashes of a loved one was released. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
