{"id":34,"date":"2020-12-04T14:50:00","date_gmt":"2020-12-04T05:50:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.alphabendi.com\/?p=34"},"modified":"2020-12-14T14:20:55","modified_gmt":"2020-12-14T05:20:55","slug":"sweat","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.alphabendi.com\/?p=34","title":{"rendered":"Sweat"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Sweat is wet, it cools you down when you are hot.<\/p>\n<p>It generally builds up on your forehead and if it\u2019s not mopped off your brow it will continue on its travels.<\/p>\n<p>When it gets into your eyes it stings because of the salt.<\/p>\n<p>If it\u2019s left alone it will trickle down the bridge of your nose until it reaches the tip.<\/p>\n<p>From there on in it will continue on until it dampens your top lip.<\/p>\n<p>If it\u2019s not licked or wiped it will find its way on to your chin and then either drip on to your clothes or on to the floor.<\/p>\n<p>It may decide to follow the contour of your chin as it makes its way down on to the front of your neck.<\/p>\n<p>If you\u2019re wearing a vest it will be absorbed so it won\u2019t trickle down on to your chest, but if no vest is worn, it will continue on all forlorn.<\/p>\n<p>Gravity will allow it to keep moving until it gets in between your toes.<\/p>\n<p>From head to toe that\u2019s how far sweat is prepared to flow.<\/p>\n<p>We cannot forget that if we let sweat trickle down the small of our back it will invariably end up in the crack of our bum.<\/p>\n<p>Which is no fun if you\u2019re crouching behind a big burly rugby player locked into in a scrum.<\/p>\n<p>A poem by Stephen Austwick<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Sweat is wet, it cools you down when you are hot.
